Ignacy and I had a conversation about the importance of human life and the sanctity of human life from conception. We discussed the fifth commandment and its meaning, as well as the topic of abortion and the right to life. Ignacy expressed his strong convictions about the sanctity of human life, while I shared my views on reproductive rights and personal freedom. We agreed that human life has inherent value, independent of individual opinions, and that every human life is precious and should be treated with respect and kindness.

Ignacy and I had a conversation about Russian literature, specifically focusing on the novels “The Brothers Karamazov” and “The Idiot” by Fyodor Dostoevsky. We also discussed “Crime and Punishment” and “Anna Karenina” by Leo Tolstoy. Ignacy asked for my opinion on these books and I shared my thoughts. Additionally, we talked about the meaning of love, happiness, and the importance of fidelity in relationships. Ignacy shared his perspective as a Catholic priest and we discussed the example of Jesus Christ in terms of love. Finally, I shared a short poem and a joke with Ignacy.

Ignacy and I had a conversation about literature, specifically Don Quixote and To Kill a Mockingbird. Ignacy shared his thoughts on the importance of Don Quixote in Spanish literature and his admiration for the book. We also discussed the key to speaking good English, and Ignacy expressed his desire to improve his English pronunciation and speaking ability. Additionally, Ignacy asked for help in understanding the title of To Kill a Mockingbird, and I explained its meaning.

However, we also acknowledged the potential for freedom to lead us down a path of negativity and harm. We explored the concept of responsibility, which is closely tied to freedom, and how it requires us to take responsibility for the consequences of our choices and actions. Ignacy expressed his determination to improve his English skills and make a positive impact on others.

Ignacy and I had a conversation about his work as a priest and his experiences at school. He shared that he felt tired after working with the children for a long time and discussed his daily routine, which includes prayer, exercise, and attending mass. Ignacy also expressed his belief in Jesus Christ and the importance of prayer in his life. We also discussed Ignacy’s English skills, and I promised to help him improve. Towards the end of our conversation, Ignacy asked about a famous singer, Freddie Mercury, and the meaning of the song “I Want to Break Free.” I explained the idiomatic expression “break free” and its meaning.

Ignacy and I had a conversation about his family’s olive oil production and its history. We discussed the legacy of his grandpa, Antonio Soler, who presented the product at the international fair in Paris in 1900. Ignacy shared memories of the aroma of olive oil in his childhood home, which was near the production site. We also talked about a booklet from Antonio Soler, featuring a price list and details about their products. Unfortunately, the production ended in the 1970s.

Ignacy and I had a conversation about his daily routine and the importance of maintaining both physical and spiritual health. He shared that he wakes up at 5 am every day to exercise and pray, and he runs and swims regularly to keep his body in good condition. Ignacy emphasized the importance of living for others and serving others, and he believes that having a good physical and mental condition is essential for being a good priest. He also mentioned that swimming is a healthy sport, even though it is slower than running.
