We discussed Plato’s and Aristotle’s ideas on virtue and happiness, as well as the role of God in our lives. Ignacy shared his beliefs about the divinity of Jesus Christ and the hope of eternal life. We also talked about Europe’s identity and the significance of the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Kraków, Poland. Ignacy recommended visiting the sanctuary for a deeply spiritual experience and the opportunity to make a good confession. He also shared his personal experiences of finding peace and serenity through confession.

Ignacy and I had a conversation about various topics, including films, religion, and history. We discussed the themes and importance of movies like “The Sound of Music,” “A Man for All Seasons,” and “Ordinary People.” Ignacy shared his thoughts on the role of the king in the Church of England, specifically during the time of Henry VIII, and the execution of Thomas More. We also talked about Ignacy’s active lifestyle, as he shared his recent running and sauna experiences.
Feeling extra lazy today so I just lounged around and did nothing. Made coffee, went for a walk, listened to some music. An excellent day!
